Collective off-road jeep ride tour to Etna Volcano, departure from Taormina area, to visit the amazing landscapes, the exitinct craters of Sartorius Mounts, the Bove Valley. This is the only way to really enjoy the Volcano ... is not dangerous ... and believe us: this excursion will be the main highlights of your Sicilian trip.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Etna Volcano: Scenic Jeep Drive to the beatiful volcano. With this excursion we explore the north side of the Volcano up to 1800 meters.

ITINERARY:

Jeep Ride to Etna Volcano up to 1.800 mt. with light-lunch.
Today pick-up at your Hotel (booked on your own or contact us!) by an off-road’s driver and transferred to Etna Volcano. Enjoy a lovely Jeep experience through Etna area: Mount Fontana (view of Bove Valley), the Thieves Cave (grotta dei ladroni), extinct craters of Sartorius Mounts, lava flow from 2002 eruption. Light-lunch in a local Farmhouse to taste typical Sicilian dishes.

During afternoon off-road drive along the Linguaglossa-Castiglione and Alcantara Gorges. Short visit to Canyon entrance (admission fee: not included).

Later we return to Taormina hotel.

This Excursion is Collective. In each Jeep you can find a maximum of 6 people on. Pick-up and drop-off will be guaranteed at your hotel.

What to pack?:
The most important ingredient to a successful excursion is exploration. Please pack comfortable hiking boots. During summer and spring season do not forget a wind jacket, hat & sun screen. From October to end of March do not forget your coat.
